screw you too

Back in December, I told you that the Senate was sending a big holiday screw you to poor people, sick people, children and college students. Well, the House wrapped that screw you with a bow on Wednesday, passing a package that aims to save $40 billion over the next five years. It's good news for parents who don't pay their child support. The federal government is cutting funding for programs that actually force them to take some responsibility for procreatin'.

Adding to the pain, the Senate chose, the very next day, to pass tax cuts worth $70 billion -- over the same five year period.

Charming.
