I believe this is something all of us can do:
Try to be happy within the context of the life we are actually living.
Try to be happy within the context of the life we are actually living.
Political Cliches — Buzzfeed has identified the first cliche of the 2008 presidential election — and I confess that I'm guilty of contributing to this unfortunate trend. But I'm not on the same page as far as Patrick Ruffini is concerned. A leader can only lead if they compel others to join them in their mission. And that requires a conversation. We can not appoint ourselves leaders, others must do that for us.
Speaking of Conversations — My apologies, but I can't figure out what the h*ll I was reading last night when I came across a post that waxed poetic about how great co.mment is, leading me to sign up for an account and to tell my co-workers how great it is (risking the embarrassment of telling them something they already know and revealing my Web 2.0 inadequacies -- along the lines of telling someone about a great band called The Beatles). But, thank you, whoever you are.
Shopping List — U.S. News and World Report lists all of the 2008 presidential candidates web sites. Take your pick.
Wayne's Happiness — Thanks to the folks at EchoDitto (and their del.icio.us links), I am a little happier than I was before. Wayne Coyne from The Flaming Lips, who makes me happy simply by BEING, gives us a little perspective on how to create our own happiness.
