I'm not the only one who is feeling a little let down about the fact that Brokeback Mountain did not win last night. But I'm not sure that I'm going to buy into the conspiracy theories just yet. Come on, folks, Crash won. Not Chronicles of Narnia. It wasn't about Christian America stomping all over the poofters.
I think I need a picture of Heath to make me feel better.

anyone else put off by heath chewing gum at the oscars? I mean, there's cocky, there's I'm probably-gonna-win-an-Oscar-cocky, and then there's just douchebag-cocky.
This does not mean I don't think Heath is hot as hell. He is. Just lose the gum if you're in the front row, can'tcha?
I am put off by someone chewing gum in general. I consider it to be one of the most disgusting habits, on par with chewing finger nails. Both make me want to hurl.
With that said, I don't necessarily think Heath was being cocky by chewing gum. I'm guessing it was either something to calm his nerves or to control the need for a cigarette during the seemingly endless event.
