MSNBC has an article on their site today about the impact that Katrina is having on the thousands of HIV-positive folks who have been displaced from their homes. Many are struggling to get access to the meds that are keeping them alive. As I let you know a while back, the AIDS Alliance for Children, Youth and Families are working to attend to their emergency needs, including ensuring that they get the treatment they need.
