Read Dana Milbank’s piece in the Post this morning if, like me, you have a thing for apocalyptic forecasts. According to a bipartisan group of “eggheads” (That’s how Milbank refers to them. I call them economists and I love ‘em and their little charts.), we are f*cked. F*cked as in Argentina-like collapsed economy and riots in the streets f*cked. 2040 is the year. I’ll be 70 and not all that psyched about having to eat dog food.
