pointing fingers

After eight years on the job, Gloria Feldt recently resigned from her position as President of Planned Parenthood. As far as she's concerned, Democrats need to cut the sh*t and stop blaming the folks "on the ground" who have been fighting for abortion rights. "The finger should be pointed at the anti-choice extremists who don't even support family planning programs that would make abortions less necessary," she says.

(Newsweek has an online interview with Feldt you should check out.)

Meanwhile, hell is breaking loose in South Dakota, with several members of the state legislature proposing bills on Monday that would go as far as to ban abortion except in cases where the woman's health or life is at "grave" risk.
