del.icio.us tags: search

iProspect released a new survey on the behaviors of search engine users.

Big findings?

  • Vertical search isn't catching on — with the most commonly used being image search, news search and video search.
  • 68 percent of users don't go past the first page of results -- top 10 -- and 92 percent don't go past page three -- top 30 -- an increase in both stats since the last survey.
  • Search engine users correlate prevalent search engine results with being an "industry leader."
