i'm here

I haven't been in a room in a while where someone does the "progressive hiss." The progressive hiss happens when someone on stage mentions a "bad" person/institution and the person in the audience feels compelled to make it clear that they don't like the bad person/institution being mentioned.

It's idiotic.

You're at a conference filled with progressives. Do you really need to hiss when someone mentions Halliburton? Is there actually anyone in the room who doesn't know/think they're "bad"?

I'm at the Personal Democracy Forum conference.
