Former Virginia Governor Mark Warner, referred to by the NY Times as Hillary Clinton's "biggest potential rival for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination" announced yesterday that he's not going to run.

Despite the fact that he thinks the time is right for a Democrat to win, Warner says that his exploratory efforts have already been a huge drain on his family.

It's too early for folks to be dropping out. Let the people decide. I want choices.
