i'm a veteran (gush)
I am sitting in the first workshop of the BlogHer conference: "Blog in a Box," being run by Heathervescent, Miss Zoot, and Melinda Casino.
I'm feeling pretty fabulous because someone, when I told them that I have been blogging since December 2004, called me a "veteran". That might suggest that I don't need this beginner workshop, but I'm not so sure about that AND, yes, I am meant to be working. I'm on a mission to find out what kind of support women need to help them with their blogs.
John and I got in on Thursday morning and spent the day yesterday meeting some of the bloggers and the conference organizers. We drove down to Santa Cruz last night, had a fabulous dinner and then went to Social Distortion. My first show, John's millionth (or something like that). I'm now a fan. On the drive back to the hotel, John described the experience of being a Social D fan as being part of a tribe. There's no question about it -- the crowd was part of the fascination for me: multi-generational, dedicated and completely happy to be there. I'm downloading from iTunes as we speak.
I am posting on the agency blog from the conference as well. Check in over there if you have a chance.

Dude, that is so cool that you get to go to the conference. Have a great time. I'd be curious to hear your impressions afterward.
