a good thing

This morning's big news is that Democrats kicked some serious a** last night. I mean, except for Mayor Bloomberg of New York, but we know he's not really a Republican . . .

Is the tide turning? Is there reason to have hope? Can we sustain the level of anger and dissatisfaction that voters feel toward the White House into 2006 (and on to 2008) or have we just been given a bone to gnaw on?

I'm busy, folks. Newspapers are piling up, I haven't sent a DVD back to Netflix in a month, I owe phone calls to almost every one in my phone book, the work load is huge and seems to keep getting bigger, I have no groceries in my refrigerator, and -- I'll admit it -- this blog is suffering.

But the Democrats won big. And that is a good thing.
