Sometimes, you read news stories and they are just so f*cking weird that you can't help but look around for the Onion banner.

Here's one. Apparently the folks at UNICEF wanted to drive home that war has a horrific impact on children and so they bombed the sh*t out of a bunch of Smurfs. Yeah, Smurfs.

Tiny Smurfs scatter and run in vain from the whistling bombs, before being felled by blast waves and fiery explosions. The final scene shows a scorched and tattered Baby Smurf sobbing inconsolably, surrounded by prone Smurfs.
