she blows

There's an article on MSNBC's site about how the American Gold Star Mothers (a group of mothers whose children have been killed in combat) has rejected the membership application of a Filipina because she is not an American citizen. It's obviously pretty tacky, considering the fact that this kid died for his country (obviously debatable considering the bogus justification for the war, but you know what I mean). What's tackier, however, is the response from the president of the organization, Ann Herd, a woman in sore need of some PR training.

"We can't go changing the rules every time the wind blows."
